Annual membership costs:

  • Family / household £5
  • Individual £3

Membership is renewed in May at the AGM. If you are unable to attend the AGM we will either call on you or send you an invitation to renew.

If you would like to become a member please contact us on villagetrust@hotmail.co.uk. Alternatively you can pick up an information leaflet containing a membership form from Thorncombe Village Shop

Who are the members?

Membership is open to anyone interested - there is no requirement to live in the parish although most of the current members do. We have at present in 2010 about 130 households as members.

Why join?

Benefits include:

  • free entrance to our talks and events
  • free delivery of our newsletter in Spring and Autumn
  • the opportunity to borrow the bat detector
  • applying for tree grants from the TVT
  • the knowledge that every pound is used to benefit the parish and its environment
  • a deeper understanding of the local environment
  • the opportunity to join the committee and help to carry out the wishes of the members
